Fine to Drive
Fine to Drive is a harmony driven acoustic duo made up of Suzy Bacino and Michael Eisenbeis. The duo cut their teeth on the rich country and Americana traditions of St. Louis supergroup Whiskey Morning, whose album “The Here & Now,” can be heard on iTunes, CDBaby and Spotify and feature songs penned by Bacino. Whiskey Morning Band was also recently named St. Louis Magazine’s A-List band for 2017.
Tracking has just wrapped on Fine to Drive’s first full length album featuring original work written by Suzy & Michael themselves. This album features their distinctive harmonies and Americana sound paired with local heavy hitters Bob Breidenbach, Adam White, and Quinten Coe. The album tentatively titled “What Whiskey Did” will be released Fall 2017.
Michael is a veteran of the St Louis music scene, founding the regional touring punk band The Nukes in the early 90s and now continues his passion from rock and roll to bluegrass. He is also Fire Captain for the North St. Louis County Fire Department.
Suzy’s last ten years has been focused on guitar playing and writing music and co-founded Whiskey Morning in 2012. Suzy and Michael credit the fact that they both had cats named Loretta Lynn as a sign they were meant to play music together. They live in a bungalow in St. Louis city with the two Lorettas and a third cat, Dolly Parton.
