Kathy Ferrara
"I love working in many different aspects of the industry, I have an appreciation for all of the moving parts”, says Kathy Ferrara, a twenty-seven-year industry veteran. For eighteen of those years, Ferrara has been the Master-of-Ceremonies for several Fashion Shows and Non-Profit events. Her extensive experience both in the spotlight and behind-the-scenes makes her a perfect fit for those who are looking for an MC with veritable experience, a methodical approach, and a tranquil presence.
Ferrara has the stage presence of an actress, the calming speech of a voiceover artist, and the vision of a stage director. Her ability to quickly connect with the audience while maintaining tight schedules allows her to flawlessly host any event. Year-after-year, Ferrara is invited back by Kids with Cancer, Chaminade, Visitation and the Rural Parish Worker's Show to assist in their annual events.
Avidly committed to the success of every project she commits to, Ferrara plays the role of an intermediary between the passionate creatives and the technical coordinators to provide balance for the team and promote a successful production. As the only industry she has ever worked in, Ferrara’s enthusiasm shines through her contagious smile, furnishing a valuable foundation for any events team.
TESTIMONIALS
"Kathy is a true gem! She adds such a level of professionalism to every aspect of her emcee role and is always the glue that makes everything come together so seamlessly. Her confidence and warmth engage the audience and all those participating in our Fashion Show. We are lucky and grateful that she is part of this important event for us every year."
Michelle Ostermueller, Director of Marketing, Chaminade College Preparatory
"Kathy Ferrara has been involved with the Friends of Kids with Cancer Fashion Show for 15 years. She was one of our professional models, but more like a mom to the kids with cancer modeling in the show. She carried them down the runway and comforted them reassuring their parents sitting in the audience that their child was in great hands. For the last two years, Kathy has been the MC of our shows (we have a luncheon and a dinner show back to back). Her professionalism, poise, beauty, sense of fashion, friendliness, and most importantly compassion for the kids in the show has brought this event to a new level. Her confident and entertaining demeanor kept the audience engaged and anxiously awaiting the next scene."
